Thoughts on Honduras

Like most everywhere in Central America, it would have been nice to have spent more time here in Honduras.  The landscape reminded me of Panama and Nicaragua. The heat, the lush rain forest, the green pastures.  It's a beautiful country and the people were friendly as always.

Honduras was surprisingly developed.  There was good infrastructure and the bus terminal in San Pedro Sula was the most legit terminal we'd passed through yet.  Honduras is supposed to be a dangerous place, but it seemed safe, though I can only speak for the small amount of the country I actually saw.

In general, it would have been great to have slowed things down and seen more of Honduras.  I'm sure it would have had a lot to offer.
