Honduran Food and Drink

Empanadas are still around and tasty as always.  This version had a flour tortilla instead of corn.
I saved the best for last.  Baleadas are like a folded burrito with beans, cheese, sour cream, and some kind of filling.  It's usually a breakfast food so you can get it with eggs and avocado.  Probably the best food I've had in Central America, including Panama.

Salva Vida is the go-to beer in Honduras.  It's pretty good, similar to Gallo in Guatemala or Tona in Nicaragua.
Port Royal is a step up.  It boasts a German brew master and carries the floral quality of a German beer.
Barena is another, lighter option similar to a Corona.
